Our values

Our values significantly guide our daily life and ministry.
Reading on will help you understand how these values shape the lives of our community.



A supportive and inclusive community

We offer support to each other both in our spiritual life and in the midst of our daily needs. We involve members in making important decisions, give each member the opportunity to be heard and contribute to the development of the church with their talents and abilities.

î‚Š

Personal spiritual development

We have a personal relationship with God and we each strive for spiritual growth. Spiritual growth takes place as God’s work both personally and in the midst of the congregation.

ï—š

Transparency and openness

We are characterized by the desire to be transparent in our activities, whether it concerns management, the use of money or the execution of processes in the church. We want to be honest and open in our lives and relationships with each other.

w

Unity and cooperation

We strive for unity centered on Christ and fundamental religious understandings. We have freedom of opinion where the Bible allows it. Cooperation in the congregation is expressed in the understanding that the congregation is built up through the cooperation of all members. We want to be open to cooperation with other churches and organizations with which we share similar values.



Considering nationalities

We are a congregation where Estonians, Russians, Ukrainians and other nationalities serve God together. We believe that being members of one church and gathering together best expresses Paul’s message that in Christ there is “neither Jew nor Greek” but Christ. For us, it is a strength and value if we can manage well together in the midst of different cultures.

What we believe

What do we believe about the nature of God?

We believe that there is one God who has revealed himself and made himself known to people as Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19)

What do we believe about Jesus?

We believe that Jesus is the son of God, our only Savior and Redeemer who was crucified for our sins and who rose from the dead on the third day (Acts 2:22-24)

What is the Bible?

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and is the ultimate source of truth for Christian faith and life (2 Peter 1:19-21)

How can a person be saved?

We believe that a person can be saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23-25). We believe that a person must repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of sins and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38)

Important service areas

Of our church

Children

Children are part of our congregation. They are welcome to Sunday school every Sunday, and older children to church services. Sunday school teachers fill the children’s time with great activities and introduce the children to Christian values that can be applied in life. Every summer there are great camps for children of all ages. We believe that education of Christian values lays the foundation for a child’s relationship with God, a value system and an empathic attitude towards fellow human beings in the broadest sense.

Married couples

We believe that marriage is a union of consecration and commitment, which includes mutual respect and fidelity, and which in turn is the foundation of a strong family and society. Marriage is a reflection of God’s love for humanity and is meant to be a mutual support and encouragement in good times and bad times.

Families

Family is a place where we take care of each other’s well-being and happiness and share our love and goodness with others. We want to support families in creating a safe and value-centered spiritual environment and developing deep relationships.

Youth

An open and supportive group of young people where you can be yourself. A place for everyone, a place where everyone is considered. Friends’ support for your personal development through spiritual values. We play sports together, organize trips and various events.

Singles

A community where you are surrounded by people who value deep and real communication. A place where important values such as trust, consideration for each other, listening and openness really exist. People who want to contribute to changing society.
